Storytelling with Astrological Symbols

And secure your spot in the next cohort

starting June 16, 2026

Once upon a time...

Astrology was the intellectual playground of the world's most brilliant minds.

Ptolemy, Tycho Brahe, Galileo Galilei, Johannes Kepler, John Dee: all of them were fascinated by astrology because you can spend a hundred lifetimes exploring it and never come to the end of it.

Around each corner, there is always a new wonder waiting to delight you.

The source of astrology's depth is its symbolic language. Each symbol points to a web of interrelated people, things, and ideas. A web of stories as big as the sky.

Contained within that web is your story.
Can you read it?

Inside your natal chart is a story so beautiful, you would do anything to get it.

But most people miss it because someone has told them a story that doesn’t fit.

In this workshop, Ada helps you transform your understanding of yourself by reclaiming your power and your story.

This is your introduction to the deep work inside Storytelling with Astrological Symbols.

GRADUATES SAY

Storytelling is an ancient human technology to transmit knowledge. Narrative Astrology drops any unnecessary memorization or painful math in favor of discovering the cliff notes to the story of your life, as told by the stars.
I learned more than I ever expected to in Narrative Astrology I - both about astrology as a system and myself as a person.
— Lanya Fuldi
I loved Narrative Astrology I. I’m a practicing astrologer and I learned a few things! Ada presented concepts from both traditional and “modern” astrology with crystal clarity and tropes that make the building blocks of astrology easy to remember.
If learning astrology basics seems overwhelming, I really recommend that you try this class. You will come away with a clear understanding of the basic moving parts and how they work together.
— Susan Rossi
I wish I had Ada’s introductory course to Narrative Astrology at the beginning of my astrology journey. It elegantly and cohesively combines concepts from both modern & traditional astrology, giving the student a well-rounded introduction to the art of chart reading.
Ada’s unique, narrative-driven approach encourages creativity, playfulness, and critical thinking, showing you how to use the symbols in your birth chart to become the writer and the hero of your own story.
— Tristan Paylor

A LOOK INTO
EACH MODULE

Symbolic Language of Astrology

What if astrology already contains every story you've ever lived?

Learn to see astrological symbols as branching trees of associations. Each branch maps to specific experiences, memories, and moments from your life. The symbols aren't fixed. They're alive, waiting for you to recognize yourself within them.

Planets as Psychological Functions

Your psyche has a team. Time to meet the players. There's the Sun (your CEO), the Moon (your emotional intelligence officer), Mercury (your communications director), Venus (your relationship manager), Mars (your action hero). Identify which planetary function is running the show in any moment and how to call on the right one when you need it.

Planets as Gods: Planetary Rulership

Explore the ancient origins of planetary astrology, tracing how the seven planetary gods were understood in the civilizations that birthed Western astrology. You’ll discover which godly traits survived 4,000 years of astrological practice, which interpretations are due to be reintegrated into modern astrology, and how understanding these original mythological associations deepens your understanding of planetary functions.

Planets as Gods: Mesopotamia

Learn how gender, power dynamics, and cultural bias have shaped our understanding of planetary archetypes. Drawing from ancient Mesopotamian mythology, you’ll explore how solar and lunar cultures view planetary energies differently and why traditional “masculine” and “feminine” planetary labels may be limiting your chart work.

Signs, Elements, and Modes

The four elements (fire, earth, air, water) and three modes (cardinal, fixed, mutable) shape sign expression. Travel through the seasons and connect the astrological wheel with the natural cycles.

Archetypes

Work with the astrological archetypes without falling into stereotypes and tropes. Using examples from pop culture, you’ll learn the crucial difference between archetypal patterns (universal building blocks for narratives), topes, (recognized patterns) and stereotypes (limiting assumptions and beliefs).

Evolutionary Intent

Shift from what signs are to what they are asking you to become. Accept the evolutionary invitation: not the fixed personality, but a developmental journey. Learn what it means when you have multiple placements in the same sign and how that concentrates your evolutionary focus. Understand the vulnerabilities, boundaries and tolerance of each sign.

Angular Houses

The angular houses—1st, 4th, 7th, and 10th—are the cardinal points of your chart where energy moves outward into the world. These are the houses of initiation, the places where your story becomes visible and active.

Succedent Houses

The succedent houses—2nd, 5th, 8th, and 11th—are where you take the initiations of the angular houses and build something lasting. These  the places where your story gains substance, depth, and resources.

Cadent Houses

The cadent houses—3rd, 6th, 9th, and 12th—are where you step back from action and consolidation to process, learn, and prepare. These are the places where your story becomes flexible, adaptive, and ready for the next cycle of initiation.

Aspects

Think the plants don’t have conversations with each other? Think again. Experience the relationships, tensions and harmonies that make your narrative complex and alive. Switch from thinking of “good” and bad” influences to an ongoing dialogue between different parts of your psyche seeking integration.
